LLHRC Fall Regular Hunt Test Update
Just a reminder the Fall Hunt test is September 6th & 7th. We have added a second flight of Finished dogs due to the demand. We still have openings in Started and Seasoned. Many of our members have already volunteered their help but we need more of our members to respond to fill in where there is a need. LLHRC Spring Training seminar a huge success!
We had about 50 people in attendance to get some valuable training information and strategies presented by our own Greg Larson of Sundowner Retrievers. Poor weather and a forcast calling for snow kept us indoors for most of the day, but we had ample space for several demonstrations and lots of learning. The event was advertised at local sporting goods stores and on several online bulletin boards and we saw a great turnout of new folks to HRC. Many of them have since joined the club and been showing up for club training days to put to use the knowledge they learned.
